Gasping for breath, for truth, to be free Struggling to break your hold over me Your hands on my throat is not love, it’s not fair Must be dumb, after all my brain’s not getting air I know in your mind air is evil, no good I can’t see, I don’t listen, but you think that I should But my neck has grown, no longer your hands fit my throat I’m telling you now, that it’s time to let go
