And so, I see, it’s come to this, Fate’s gone against our strongest wish, And though I wish that you were here, I cannot make you reappear. But even if to me you came, Things would never be the same, I’d just be left to wonder when, The day would come, you’d leave again. I know we both have made mistakes, But I’ve had all that I can take, And you can’t say I never loved, For on that, you know nothing of. And though I did enjoy the days, We were together, let’s part ways, For hiding feelings felt for you, Is easier for me to do.
